Dear Friends,
I am asking for the support of your organisation for the Vietnamese affected by the chemical Agent Orange. Three have begun a court case in New York against 35 chemical companies, who manufactured the chemical used by the American forces in their war on Vietnam.
When I read of the news I discussed with some friends and decided to place a petition online for people wishing to support the Vietnamese and their case. I am very pleased to tell you that today, the number of people who have signed has reached 25,627.
The petition ends in December this year. It will go to the U.S. President, Congress, Senate and the chemical companies. I have asked a few organisations if they would place a link to the petition on their web-site. I am pleased that they have agreed, and this includes the BBC.
