In the pages of The Spokesman there is to be found informed reports and documentation on military policy, and comprehensive accounts of disarmament moves.  Contributors include Frank Blackaby, Zhores Medvedev, Regina Hagen, Rosalie Bertell, Joseph Rotblat, Johan Galtung and Seymour Melman.  Rapportage from conflict zones is very extensive and includes contributions from Robert Fisk, Hanan Ashrawi, Bahig Nassar, John Pilger and Ibrahim Warde.

There is strong coverage of the war in Iraq, and responses of international institutions to the effects of this war, including reports from the International Committee of the Red Cross, Amnesty International, and such distinguished lawyers as Lord steyn.

During the coming year there will be renewed concern about the proliferation of nuclear weapons, with the convening of the Unite Nations Review Conference on the Non Proliferation Treaty.  Heated exchanges are very likely, arising out of the development of new space-based military technologies.  All of these will be given minute informed coverage by The Spokesman. And the activities of the Peace Movements will receive constant attention.
